NPR Samples (Never Pay Retail) is a women’s boutique filled with quality name brand clothing samples priced at wholesale or below. The owner, Ann Fulton, travels to clothing markets across the country finding clothing and accessories that are stylish and well made.
NPR began 33 years ago when Margie Alexander started selling women’s samples in her basement. In the early 80s she incorporated and the business officially became NPR. Then in 1985, Margie moved into the business park west of the current location. Ann Fulton, the present owner, was a devoted NPR shopper. She bought NPR in 2002 and has expanded the store to include more lines and more sizes. The store moved to 5042 E. Hampden in February, 2017.
Our clothes are high-quality manufacturers’ samples that fit a wide range of sizes, and we are able to order samples in sizes 2 – 16 – as we always say “there are two sizes at NPR – it fits or it doesn’t”. One good thing to know is that our samples arrive a season ahead- way before the department stores. This allows you to plan your seasonal wardrobe ahead of time and be the first to score a good deal on the new lines.
New Policy! Returns are accepted within five days of purchase for store credit. No returns on sale merchandise.
Care instructions are not usually included on samples-use your best judgment.
