10 BEST WEARABLE FALL TRENDS.
Although, I look forward to seeing each season’s new trends and looks, it seems that the designers often try to outdo themselves by designing some very strange and awkward looks. It really is theater- beautiful and eye-catching, but not very wearable by most gals. In the mix tough, there are some very wearable and fun trends.
This season, channels throwbacks from different decades: think tailored clothes, chunky sweaters and real shoes It will be fun and easy to update your wardrobe with some of these designs.
New shoes are an easy way to update your wardrobe, and believe it or not, loafers are cool again. Look for an embossed croc style or one with a thick sole.
2. Chunky Cardigans.
Cozy cardigans are great to wear on chilly fall mornings and are great layered under coats and jackets.
3. Full length tailored pants.
Ankle pants still look good, but long dress pants have made a comeback. It’s a very nice change.
4. Sweater vest.
This style is different from puffer vests. It is a little more Diane Keaton in Annie Hall.
5. Fancy chambray shirt.
Chambray shirts with feminine details are romantic and a good way to update a basic. It’s a combination of Little House On The Prairie meets Bridgerton.
Pullovers in basket weaves, cables and crochet look fresh and new this season. The new twist to this throwback fashions is the sweaters are longer- some thigh length and have wide boat-like necklines.
7. Saturated colors.
Saturated colors have a lot of pigment and look great when combined with warm brown neutrals, tan or beige. A little of the bright colors goes a long way.
8. Faux leather pants.
This is what comes after black leather biker jackets- tailored faux leather pants. They have attitude will give your wardrobe a little flair.
9. Loose fitting jeans.
There is room in your wardrobe for all kinds of pants: skinnies, botch and the new loose fitting kind. Avoid anything that looks like “mom” jeans, is barrel-cut or paper bag. Try a straight legged pair or a wide leg ankle crop.
10. Fringed Wraps and Ponchos
These ponchos and fringed sweaters are the best in fall when you need something, but don’t need a jacket. When it gets colder, these wraps will layer over a coat.
