I was in New York this week and had such a great time checking out all the fashion and styles on the street and at The Javitt’s Center for The Coterie Show. It’s a big show and everyone was turned out in their best NYC finery. It is so much fun to people watch. Torn jeans, white tees, ankle boots, high waisted pants, skirts and dresses were strong fashion statements. My overall thought is that most of the women looked very casual and had the most trouble with their footwear. Let me know what you think- ann@nprsamples.com.
- The BIG show
- Tatoo shirt, paper bag waist- visions of the future…
- Mules on men, boots and booties on gals- always a leather jacket…
- Shoe trouble, pants too long…
- I had trouble with the long tunic and the bell bottoms- wide pants look better with a shorter top. The longer tunics work better with tight britches…
- Two stories of proportion: the gal on the left looks balanced(excluding the trade show bag) while the gal on the right looks like she might topple over (top too long)…
- Always a line… it’s fun to see the shoes and expressions. Was tracking the gal with the wide legged pants…
- High waisted skinny jeans- tops tucked in. Bring back your belts!
- Hole-y jeans, short tops and boots- wow
- The block print looks nice…
- The red dress looks fresh on a Monday morning…
- Three different looks…I like the purple/pink…
- My favorite- shoes match the sweater and hand bag coordinates…
- Worker bees…
- This cracked me up- her shirt hung out the bottom of her denim skirt- kind of clever…
- WOW- they are pretty pleased with their lack of back fat…
- Very Sunday new York
- The black looks great with her hair…
- Never forget the importance of proper underwear…
